The Signature Assignment for this course must demonstrate your
comprehension, application, analysis, and integration of course work and
current research related to the instructional leader’s role as an advocate
and decision-maker for the mission and vision the school. In this week’s
work, you will explore characteristics of leaders as advocates and
decision-makers.

For this assignment, you will compose an essay on a topic concerning
instructional leadership. Identify and discuss five key factors that make
an effective leader and how these key factors can improve the
interaction of all the stakeholders, school personnel, students, parents
and other family members, and the community.

Length: 12-15 pages, not including the title and reference pages.

References: A minimum of eight scholarly references, published within
the last five years, to support your assertions.
