Research topic: Preventing Bullying among Middle School Age Groups
Introduction
Bullying is aggressive behavior that occurs intentionally and involves power imbalances. Bullying repeatedly occurs physically, relational, and verbal. Bullying is more experience in the middle age groups both in and outside school; therefore, there is a need to control this behavior. Prevention of bullying involves being committed to creating a safe environment whereby children will socially thrive academically without fearing anything.
Research Problem
Despite much research done on bullying, the increasing number of children bullied in schools is increasing, outgrowing the field. There is little value in the existing research on the bullying section in middle age groups. Therefore, since bullying behavior does not go away, there is a need to look for ways to help fight it.
Research Objectives

2. Defining why children bully around that age.

2. What are some of the ways which can be used to reduce bullying?
3. What are some of the reasons bullying children give for bullying others?
4. What are factors that contribute to bullying behavior?
5. Are there programs that have been set to reduce bullying?
6. Are the programs helping in reducing bullying among middle-age groups?
Literature Review
Bullying can be prevented in various ways:
Being knowledgeable and observant
One needs to be aware that bullying can happen anywhere; therefore, intervention should be taken immediately to stop the behavior if any bullying behavior arises. Considering where the action has taken place, recording the bullying can be recorded the appropriate person should be told (Cunningham & Whitten, 2017). Holding a meeting with the bullied and the one who has bullied the other person will control the behavior.
Talking to the children
As a parent explaining to your child what bullying is and giving them tips on how to outstand it safely may help prevent bullying. Inquiring from the kids about any bullying behavior they may have encountered, heard about, or even experienced (Espelage & Holt, 2012). Have frequent concerns about the kids; find out all about your kid in school. Prepare them psychologically to react if bullying happens to them and help them know whom they should contact while in school.
Setting up bullying prevention programs.
Anti-bullying programs will help in reducing bullying behavior in school. The program entails training requirements, and many of the programs already in practice are designed to help middle-aged people in school. The program entails social-emotional; therefore, adolescents will have a chance to learn empathy, goal setting, recognizing emotions and managing them, and problem-solving skills.
Holding anti-bullying campaigns
These campaigns will reduce bullying instances in the community by setting up several strategies (National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. 2016). One should consider safe events, which should include in the anti-bullying campaign.
Research methods
The study will use qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. A sample of 50 children from a different school will be used. The study will use an open-ended question to collect data from the students.
Ethical consideration
Ethical considerations will be observed at a high level. Any data collected from each participant will be kept confidential. Participation of the respondents will be voluntary, with no forcing any students to participate during data collection.
