How first amendment has been violated by the political campaigns manipulations

The first amendment analyzes the freedom of expression that gets deep to the element of speech. This right has since then been violated across the social media platforms where students are again regulated on the way they should express themselves among peers. The violation of this amendment is also evident among the political leaders during campaigns for example turning the communication platform into a political forum to sell out their manifestos (Hidy, Kathleen McGarvey page 1045). The controversies have risen among the concerned parties and the members of the congress on how the right can be revised to protect the rights of every individual across all the groups. The breach of law by the political moves has led to the frequent revision of this section of the US constitution and the need to the government to use surveillance kind of leadership.

The culture of United States politics has it that every political leader must get hold of the many social media platforms for them to gain the masses of people who will vote them in as the leader. Opinion polls now depend on the views of people in social media to determine the next likely person in the political power. Basing on the previous general electrons, many political aspirants utilized these platforms in the name of freedom of speech to exploit the social media setting out the best foot for themselves and manage to move the crowd. With an aim of attracting other followers these people could manipulate their supremacy in the media based on what they have done before; this is a clear misuse of media and the violation of freedom of speech highlighted by the First Amendment.

DIFFERENT TYPES OF FREE SPEECH IN SCHOOLS AND HOW THEY CAN BE EXPLOITED

There are distinct sets of rights to schools among learners between the public and private schools based on the First Amendment as well as the provision by the bill of rights. Public schools students are the ones commanding the law but the presence of schools officials try to balance and bring to the point of neutrality between the two sets of leaners in school. Safeguarding free expression is very essential among learners where students are allowed to express themselves to the teachers and even the environment they are operating from for them to acquire comfortable and conducive learning environment. Despite the presence of freedom of speech in schools, learners are not allowed to express some of the key elements affecting themselves under the constitutional rights (Patton, Katlyn Ann page 189). This is an effort to try and reduce cases of riots in schools as well as their efforts to explore their potential in speech which may make them feel superior over others in class.

Basing on the directive given by the US Supreme Court on students, no school going student be it a public or a private sector is allowed to exercise their constitutional rights to freedom of speech despite understanding that student students in the public schools sector are under the arm of the government and thus possess the First Amendment freedoms. Since the school has its own rules and regulations as well as the well-established set of guideline, a guarantee for these students to exercise their freedom of speech may interfere with the normal school programs, this is a clear violation of the First Amendment right. This has been made possible since these school going children are protected by the juvenile court to exercise their freedom of speech outside the school set up.
