Do 2-2 video journal-
In a 1- to 2-minute video journal, explain what makes a resource both credible and ethical based on your course resources as well as your personal opinions. This is also a great opportunity to practice using appropriate body language and tone, eliminating vocalized pauses (not saying uh, um, etc.), and eye contact with your audience (or in this case, camera).
Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:
Credible Resources: Describe what makes a resource credible, how to evaluate a resource for credibility, and why it is important to use credible resources.
Ethical Resources: Describe what makes a resource ethical, how to evaluate a resource to determine its ethics, and why it is important to use ethical resources.
Oral Citation(s): Include at least one oral citation for a course resource to support your response.
Guidelines for Submission
Submit your response as a 1- to 2-minute video recording using Bongo.

This resource describes the process and findings of a study that examined how voters were influenced by and reacted to both viewing the 2016 presidential election debates and use of social media. Specifically, the study sought answers to the questions, how did viewing the debates influence voters, and would viewing the debates reinforce their existing opinion, or provide them with useful information about the candidates?
The resource is credible, objective, and reliable. This is because the study was conducted using objective data analysis, peer-reviewed, and recently completed, and it was conducted as part of educational study. This resource relates to my topic of election coverage because it explores how different types of media coverage such as social media engagement and broadcasted debates can influence, engage, and impact the general public. This can be used to provide possible suggestions to improve the process as well as inform audiences on current practices using data.
