 Self-regulation is the ability to manage and control your thoughts, feelings, and actions as you pursue your goals. The process makes you active, intentional learners as you engage in a continuous cycle of planning, performing, and learning, so you can keep growing and making improvements.

Think about Vincent, Cari, and Duane from Section 3.1 in the textbook. They were trapped in unproductive behaviors that led to unfavorable results. For this discussion, reflect on a situation where you have been unproductive or unsuccessful personally, academically, or in the workplace. Think about the steps you took in planning and performing, and what you learned from the experience.
