Bulldozer, also called Dozer, is a powerful machine for pushing earth or rocks, used in road building, farming and construction. The objective of this design project competition is for a team of three/four students to design and build a Miniature Bulldozer [Weight should not exceed 5 Kg] to push a weight of atleast 10 Kg upto 1 feet (0.6m) on ground. Main focus of the design is to select appropriate motor and transmission system [Containing gears, shafts, bearings etc.]. Shape of outer body is not a concern in this project competition. Submit a design report on the design of Miniature Bulldozer on the chosen configuration. The report must consists of · o • § Objectives and constraints of design project. Design and calculations, clearly mention the factor of safety for various members [ Should not exceed 5 pages] § Exploded and detail drawings (2D drawings with proper views, dimensions, centerlines, etc.) of the parts and final assembly and Bill of material using solidworks. § Include various pictures of your designed and manufactured prototype in report. § References
